In Memoriam

The vibe is a bit more sullen today. Andy lost his dad this weekend, and we're all doing our best to live with the grief. And it makes you think about life, and about death, and about all the different ways in which people choose to mourn loss. But it also makes you smile to remember all the good times, and to hold on to the memories that really matter in the long run. It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

We're just gonna go ahead and say it: there's a THICK line between being a friend and being a douchebag to someone. At least there sure should be. We had an incident this week, and we're talking about it! It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

Thank You For Coming To My Tech Talk

We started out waxing nostalgic, and ended up proclaiming "ADAPT OR PERISH!" When it comes to tech, not everyone wants to progress at the speed of light. But if you don't, what then? We've seen physical media like cassettes and CDs kicked to the curb by iPods which were outmoded by smartphones and streaming platforms and wifi and hot spots and what the hell is next!? It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

The Big C

We're getting a little bit serious here, talking about some surgery JJ just had, and the unfortunate possibilities that come along with it. But whatever happened to being compassionate!? When you live with certain conditions, it gets difficult (and sometimes super lonely) when you feel like no one really takes you seriously. Makes you wonder what it might actually take for people to have some more obvious care and understanding. It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

I Hate To Complain...

We're not here to alienate anyone. ...But we might? Even when we try not to get political, sometimes it just can't be helped. We're here talking about debate, protesting, and people who simply cannot (or will not) find any good in an argument that they didn't come up with themselves. Season 2: Podcast Boogaloo

We're still here, and we're still talking! Kicking off this new season with a "fresh eyes" look at last season (and doing our best not to cringe). We've come so far... we think. Better yet, we're ready to go even further! It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.
